Representatives from Sampson Middle School receive the $25,000 check for school supplies.
From August 7, through August 27, Food Lion ran a three-week “Pack in the Savings” campaign to benefit local schools. During the three week campaign, customers were able to purchase specially-marked items and receive MVP card savings to help their school of choice win a grant up to $25,000. This Food Lion MVP Classroom Rewards program offers schools the opportunity to obtain needed supplies, educational equipment and more.
On Monday, Oct. 28, four grand prize-winning schools, one per Food Lion division, were presented $25,000 checks at their local Food Lion store. The winners are as follows:
Sampson Middle School - Clinton, N.C.
