Details: On Thursday, Food Lion will donate 100 bags of groceries to families being helped by Greensboro Urban Ministry. The bags will include a variety of products, such as spaghetti, saltines and cereal, among other items.
“This donation to the individuals we serve in the community is going to help tremendously, and it comes at a time when there is great need,” said Rev. Mike Aiken, Executive Director of Greensboro Urban Ministry. “Food Lion’s generosity will help provide essential staples to local families and help them save a little money at the grocery store this week.”
