Food Lion Offers Customers Opportunity for Free Admittance to Inaugural Concord Mills Ice Park During “Hunger Relief Day” on Dec. 29

Food Lion and the Ice Park at Concord Mills have announced a new partnership to collect canned food items for the first annual Ice Park Hunger Relief Day in Concord, N.C.

Ice Park attendees will be offered one free ticket to ice skate Sunday, Dec. 29, when they bring five Food Lion-brand canned food items to the park. The ticket, a $12 value, is good for the entire day. Park hours are 12 p.m. until 10 p.m.

All canned goods collected throughout the day will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, the largest hunger relief organization in the region operating across 18 counties.
