Food Lion Recalls Limes from Select Stores

SALISBURY, N.C. – Food Lion is announcing that they are recalling select limes from some stores after being notified by its supplier that they could have possibly come in contact with Listeria.  The items impacted include limes sold in two-pound bags and Nature’s Promise Organic Limes sold in one-pound bags.

This recall impacts two-pound bag limes and one-pound bag Nature’s Promise Organic Limes sold between July 7 – Aug. 7. The affected items were sold at select Food Lion stores in the produce section. A list of stores where these items were sold can be viewed here.

Food Lion has removed all affected product from its shelves and urges customers to return the product to their local store for a full refund. Customers may also contact Food Lion's Customer Support Center at 1-800-210-9569.
