Food Lion Voluntarily Recalls Taste of Inspirations South of the Border Frozen Pizza

SALISBURY, N.C. – Food Lion is voluntarily recalling its 20.1 oz. Taste of Inspirations South of the Border frozen pizza with UPC number 72543999549 because of the product having the potential to have bacterial contamination. The affected products have a Best By date of Sept. 25, 2019; Sept. 28, 2019; Oct. 1, 2019; or Oct. 4, 2019.

While there have been no reports of illnesses to date, the product is being recalled as a precautionary measure after the manufacturer of the product indicated the potential risk.

Food Lion has removed all affected product from its shelves and urges customers to return the product to their local store for a full refund. Customers may also contact Food Lion's Customer Support Center at 1-800-210-9569.
