Millette Granville Recognized with Career Mastered 2020 National Diversity Leadership Award

Award lauds outstanding diversity advocates

SALISBURY, N.C. — Millette Granville, Food Lion’s vice president of Talent, Diversity & Inclusion and Organization Development has been recognized with a Career Mastered 2020 National Diversity Leadership Award.

The Leadership Award recognizes outstanding women leaders from across the nation for their excellent example of diversity and inclusion advocacy and leadership. The award represents “Visionary Women Who Lead by Example” and who have made significant contributions to diversity and inclusion.

“Millette provides oversight to a number of Business Resource Groups at Food Lion, including our Women’s BRG, LGBTQ BRG and others. Every day she demonstrates her commitment to diversity and inclusion in our organization and within our community, and we are so proud of her for being named to this list of talented, visionary leaders,” said Linda Johnson, senior vice president of human resources at Food Lion.

According to Career Mastered, the topic of women’s leadership has been part of a national and global conversation over the past couple of years. Knowing women’s achievements, challenges and stereotypes upend social assumptions about who women are and what women can accomplish today.
