Food Lion Honors Kim Rollins with 2015 Division Store Manager Excellence Award

Food Lion has awarded Kim Rollins with its 2015 Central Division Store Manager Excellence Award. Rollins, who is the store manager of the Food Lion located at 8118 Blair Road in Charlotte, N.C., accepted the award recently among her peers at the corporate office in Salisbury, N.C.
"For my team, this award shows associates that hard work and dedication really does pay off,” Rollins said. “You must have the passion to serve people, our customers and our community and just treat everyone the same way you want to be treated.”
Additionally to honor Rollins, Food Lion through Food Lion Feeds donated $1,000 in her store's name to Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina in Charlotte, N.C. The donation was made because of Rollins' leadership and commitment to the community.
Rollins has worked with Food Lion for the past 22 years. She is a respected leader in her community and looked at as a leader among her peers. Kim is married and resides in Charlotte, N.C. She has a son who also works for Food Lion.
"Kim's leadership and expectations have created a culture of high performance with her associates," said Dave Bass, central division vice president for Food Lion. "She cross trains and develops associates consistently which helps promote them to fill critical positions within the region."
